Incorporated in 1975 by Philip Osley, The Sunken Ship began as a little hole-in-the-wall dive shop selling sporting goods, fishing poles, scuba equipment. and whatever it could. [Things were much slower back then]. If someone came in needing something and the Sunken Ship didnt have it, we'd make sure it soon-after did, hence the shop's eclectic evolution.
Today The Sunken Ship is jam-packed with just about everything you can imagine: Beach Wear, Flip-flops, Nantucket Towels & Blankets ,Nantucket T-Shirts, Nantucket Hats, Nantucket Sweatshirts, Nantucket Rugby Shirts, Nantucket Stickers, Fishing Equipment, Sporting Goods, Backpacks & Duffles, Skateboards, Fleece Wear, Diving Equipment, Watches, Fabulous Weapons, Shoes, Boots, Kid's Toys, Adult Toys, Video Games, Board Games and a huge selection of Nantucket souvenirs. If you dont see something, just ask... we probably have it hiding somewhere!
Much of our best selling Nantucket gear can be ordered from our online store. We will also mail order by phone anything else we sell in our store that you might have liked but we haven't put up yet. We have so much stuff we couldn't possibly put it all on this website!
